Tokyo Deli
Whenever I want to enjoy an affordable Japanese meal, the only 1 place I can think about is Tokyo Deli. Having several franchises spread across Ho Chi Minh City, I always frequent the one near my hotel at district 1, near Cho Ben Thanh Market.
The setup of the restaurant is simple and basic. The impression of a Japanese restaurant that I get from this place is very striking.
They have 2 different menus and their main menu is extensive. With different set meals and promotions going on, it might take you sometime to figure out what you really want to eat, but I already have my regular dishes I always order.
For noodles, I tend to go for their Beef Udon. The beef is sliced with just the right thickness with a boiled egg on top; completes a perfect bowl of tasty Udon. As for the side, I will go for their Tempura Shrimp Maki, a perfect wrap for me to complete my meal.
However, the 1 thing I will want to recommend is the drinks. I would recommend going for their Cookie and Cream Blended. It tastes awesome. It is the best, if not one of the best ice blends I have ever tasted.
Every trip to Ho Chi Minh City, this restaurant becomes a must visit at least once.
