The Log Dine & Wine: The Best Buffet Restaurant with Great Ambience
The Log Dine & Wine at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, is my personal favourite seafood buffet restaurant to dine in for any occasion. Probably the Best Buffet Restaurant from its interior decoration to ambience to the standard of food served had given me the best dining experience.
This Christmas, I had an opportunity to travel to Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam for a short work trip. I can never get enough from this country. 3 things I love about Vietnam, are fresh seafood, concept cafes and clean beaches.
I made a reservation at The Log for my business dinner meeting. I was ready to pen my review, after hearing that there was a change in setting and renovation.
THE EXPERIENCE
The Log sat on top of a beautiful new F&B and conference purpose-built complex. The moment I stepped out of the taxi, I could feel the refreshing cool air-conditioning, blown at me. There laid a black grand piano with the pianist ready for his very first set. The whole place looked new and grand.
Once we reached the top floor, we could see a long stairway, leading us to The Log, which was well-led up by Christmas decorations and Christmas Tree. ere The Log was rested. You could see patrons Instagramming at every area of the place.
Led by a friendly receptionist to our table, it was spacious and sophisticated. Beautifully furnished with timber flooring and walls which blended well with their wooden tables and chairs. The dim lightings and soft background music created that warm ambience for romantic dining.
There were more than 10 food stations, serving Japanese cuisine, Vietnamese cuisine, Thailand cuisine, Korean cuisine, Hong Kong cuisine, seafood among others. The one dish that stood out was their Steamed Cod Fish with Thailand Sauce, which was tender, well-seasoned, and braised.
The seafood was fresh with a huge variety of them. Crabs, Prawns, Lobsters, Claw fishes, Oysters along with many others, served and cooked in various ways.
THE OUTCOME
The cost to dine at The Log was about 1.8 million dong per person. For the great ambience and quality of food, was worth every penny spent.
