Tanjong Rhu Wanton Noodle: Delicious Wanton Noodle Stall at Yishun

A few days ago, my neighbour shared with me about this newly opened Wanton Noodle stall, which was just a few blocks away from my mother’s home in Yishun. She was commenting how delicious Wanton Noodle was, and I decided to check it out.

THE EXPERIENCE

On a Tuesday evening, the coffee shop was filled with diners already. There was a queue at the Wanton Noodle stall. I took the waiting time to go through the list of dishes listed on the signboards. I went for their Wanton Noodles Dry ($3.50) along with a plate of Fried Wanton ($4).

Wooo… it was pretty good.  I liked the finest of the noodles which blended well with the black sauce and the Char Siew was tender.  It came with a bowl of soup and 2 Wantons.  The only negative will be the potion wasn’t enough for me.  Maybe I am a big eater.  Hahaha.

The plate of Fried Wanton consisted of 11 pieces (not sure if I got an extra 1 or short of 1… Hahaha).  It was crispy and filling.

Guess what! 3 Vietnamese ladies were mending the Wanton Noodle Stall.

THE OUTCOME

If you are around Yishun, do visit this delicious Wanton Noodles Stall.  They do have other branches at Ang Mo Kio, Macpherson, Sembawang Shopping Centre, St George, Bugis, and West Coast.
