Pacific Regency Hotel Suites
Recently, I have been visiting Kuala Lumpur more often due to business and have been a regular at Pacific Regency Hotel Suites for the past 2 years, so I decided to share a little about this place with you guys.
The location is good, surrounded by a good selection of local cafes and restaurants. However, if you are hungry late night, the nearest supper place is about 10 minutes’ walk to Jalan Alor. Jalan Alor is known for its late-night supper which consists of 2 long street of food stalls, selling a variety of Asian cuisines.
With KL Tower just across the street, it is a 5 to 10 minutes taxi ride to KLCC and the Pavilion respectively if there is no heavy traffic. I will recommend that you take a GRAB or UBER instead of their local taxis (especially when they don’t go by their meter rates) while traveling around the city. It is much more cost efficient (especially when there is a promotion). I always prefer a suite than a hotel room due to it being spacious. Executive Suite will always be my choice, which in my opinion, rooms are always well maintained and cleaned, and their service staffs are efficient.
Furthermore, they have a fully equipped gym, a Swimming Pool on the 33rd floor with a good view of the city and the popular Luna Bar which offers good music and a spectacular view on the 34th floor. There is a 7-11 for your groceries as well as a hair salon if you wish to have a neat cut before your date.
Finally, summing up on my review, I would like to send my compliment to Nohara (one of the counter staffs) who always made the effort to attend to me at the reception even when she is busy, has been friendly, accommodating and patient with my request. Surely, I will return to have my stay whenever I visit Kuala Lumpur and should give it a shot as well.
