Ngan Dinh Restaurant
Ho Chi Minh City, District 5 will always be my preferred choice for local Chinese cuisine. It is also the only place that you will come across Vietnamese with the ability to speak Mandarin and Cantonese.
Ngan Dinh is a restaurant I will like to recommend to you guys because they served one of the finest Hong Kong Cuisines in this district.
Located on the 5th floor of Windsor Hotel, you will be received by their friendly receptionists, welcoming you in Cantonese. Ushering to your table, at the entrance, you will come across tanks of different fishes, crabs, prawns and lobsters. It is a fine dining experience you will get here with an Asian taste of interior design deco.
The menu consists of a good string of dishes to choose from. However, since I am usually alone, I would go for something simple.
A meat platter of Steam Chicken and Char Siew is one of the main choices I make. Though I am not a big fan of Vietnamese chicken meat because it is always not to my liking but here at Ngan Dinh, the meat is tender, and the Char Siew is well seasoned.
I also like to order the Stir-Fried Vegetables in Bamboo and Stir-Fried Seafood in Claypot.
The bill is fair for the simple dishes I order but it can be a restaurant that you can bring clients of family if you wish to impress them. The next time I visit the restaurant, I will try their Dim Sum.
