Lit Lit Sin Dessert: Affordable desserts at Yishun
Who doesn’t like desserts? Well, I am not talking about artisan ice-cream waffles, but the traditional old-school affordable desserts.
Ever since I moved into my mother’s place in Yishun after my father passed away, there is 1 particular stall I will visit, and that’s Lit Lit Sin Dessert.
A typical coffee shop stall setup, with foldable round tables and plastic chairs, Lit Lit Sin Dessert serves more than 30 hot and cold desserts. I personally have not tried their hot desserts, but I will recommend their Ice Kacang and Ice Longan Jelly Tadpole.
Never stingy with their toppings of red beans, red jelly cubes, creamy sweet corn, grass jelly, attap chee (palm nuts), and a spread of different colours of syrup, their Ice Kacang has always been filling.
For me, I go for something simpler. Ice Longan Jelly Tadpole, with additional Sago.
Do visit Lit Lit Sin for affordable desserts, if you are at Yishun. It is about 8 minutes walk from Yishun MRT Station, and you can also enjoy one of the most popular Laksa stalls in Singapore, just next door.
