Haidilao Hotpot Singapore: Most popular Hotpot with excellent service

I read so many good reviews about HaiDiLao Hotpot Singapore especially coming from my friends and personally, I have yet to visit any outlets in Singapore… Hahaha.  However, I did visit the ones in Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City and it became a regular place for me to dine.  It was my birthday and my friends decided to give me a treat to Haidilao at Plaza Singapura.

It was dinner time, and already a long queue that day.  It was normal to be in such a situation for Haidilao.  My friends made at least 3 days advance reservation ensuring a table has been prepared for us.

We were well greeted at the entrance by the staffs and ushed to our table.  Each table will be given a tablet for you to place your order.  The menu is quite like the one in Vietnam with minority difference in some dishes; hence, I was swift with my orders.

I believed the settings were quite standardized for most outlets at Haidilao.  At least I found some similarities between Vietnam and Singapore.  Spacious and clean with comforting plush seats.  You will also be given an apron to use.

We went ahead with 2 soup bases, Tom Yum and Chicken Soup.  As for the ingredients, we ordered Sliced Fish, Sliced Pork Belly, Signature Beef, Fresh Prawn, Chinese Cabbage, Golden Mushroom, Mushroom Combination Platter, Mushroom Meatball, Quail Egg, Chicken Egg, Crab Stick, Fine Dried Noodle, and Instant Plain Noodle.

While waiting for our orders to arrive, we were served with fruits and sides.  They even offered different kind of sauces suitable for different kinds of ingredients.

Surprisingly, with a full house restaurant, the wait wasn’t long and they came serving our soups for the steamboat then followed through our orders of ingredients.  1 word summed up what we received… freshness.   The potions served was suitable for 2 to 3 persons.

I liked the fragrance from the Tom Yun soup and the taste was sour-sweet.  The good side of it, you get ingredients along with it such as mushrooms and prawns.

As for The Chicken Soup, I found it a little diluted but once you put in the ingredients, it kind of lifted the taste better.  If I am to choose my preference, I will go for Tom Yum.

The overall experience I had at Haidilao was fantastic.  The one thing I must applaud was that no matter how busy the staffs were, they will always provide the attention you need.
