Go-Ang Platinam Chicken Rice: Popular Chicken Rice in Bangkok
To be honest, chicken is something not in my mind when I travel to Thailand but I was told by a friend of mine, that there is a very popular chicken rice stall nearby my hotel and I should give it a try. So I did.
When I reached Go-Ang Platinam Chicken Rice, the queue was amazingly long. Under the hot weather, if people were really willing to queue for so long, I hoped that the meal would be amazing for all the effort waiting in line.
After 20 minutes, finally, I was next and I was ushered all the way to the back of the stall, at a side table shared with another patron. I went for the plate of chicken rice and a bottle of mineral water.
It took about 10 minutes for the chicken rice to arrive. Honestly, looking at it, it didn’t really look appetizing, especially for a person like me who has tasted different types of chicken rice in Singapore and in Asia.
The chicken is bland and dry. The fragrance of the chicken rice is normal. It is not something that I would eat twice because Bangkok surely has many other better foods than this.
While queuing, I saw that they would be having a branch in Singapore and I hope that they can truly find success given the tight competition they will face.
