Everton Creamery Interview by Eat Drink Play
Everyone loves Gelato. Eat Drink Play got invited to be part of Chef Elements project at 18 Tai Seng and I was appointed as the Official Food Blogger for the event.
There were a total of 12 specially selected food vendors but one that drew my attention. Not just about how well they displayed their booth but also they were selling one of my favourite desserts, ice-cream!
I decided to do an interview with Lyn from Everton Creamery.

Started off the business at Everton Park hence the name Everton Creamery.
Where does your passion come from for making this delight/dish?
Little ice cream, little happiness!
Which ingredients you can’t live without?
Milk (most basic ingredients for gelato)
What is your favorite cooking tool?
Food thermometer
What is your worst cooking nightmare?
Mixing banana gelato with chocolate gelato. Tasted so bitter.
What is your most adventurous delight/dish you ever made?
Chili chocolate, cinnamon vanilla and saffron gelato
What’s the most adventurous dish you’ve ever eaten?
Fried insect?
What is the next delight/dish you will want to try making?
Neapolitan gelato
What would be your dream destination regarding food?
Italy
Who is your idol chef and why?
Reuben and Rose Mattus, founder of Häagen-Dazs. Well, they founded Häagen-Dazs.
