Baoz Dim Sum: Popular Tim Sum Restaurant at Ho Chi Minh City

When my friends visit Ho Chi Minh City, they will ask me where will be a good place for morning Tim Sum. My recommendation will be Baoz Dim Sum.

Located in Chinatown district 5, this is the only district which you can enjoy the best and affordable Chinese Cuisine of all kinds. I personally love Tim Sum and having tried various restaurants and street stalls, Baoz Dim Sum is one of the best I experience I had.

In one of my recent trips, I brought 2 of my friends from Singapore who were on holiday to have an early breakfast at this restaurant at 10am.

Once we got out of the taxi, they curiously asked me if this is just a restaurant or a building. Hahaha. I told them the whole building belongs to them. This restaurant has on 5 floors (if I remembered correctly) and each floor easily supports 10 to 20 tables.

For this trip, we are located on the 3rd floor and we managed to get a window seat. This is just the thing you need, having a good breakfast and looking out of the window, watching over the busy streets of Ho Chi Minh City.

They left the orders to me and here we go… Steam Pork Buns (Char Siu Bao), Siew Mai, Shrimp Dumplings (Har Gow), Pan Fried Turnip Cake, Fried Spring Rolls, Shrimp Rice Rolls (Har Cheung Fan), Pork Rice Rolls (Zhu Cheung Fan), Steamed Pork Ribs and the unforgettable Egg Tarts.

The only dish I will recommend to order is their Egg Tarts. They were simply delicious. It just melts in your mouth and the pastry is baked perfectly crispy.

Everyone was happy with the meal and it was not an expensive place to dine at.
